Buchsnap brings fiduciary offices and their clients together on one platform: clients photograph receipts or forward them by email, and the fiduciary immediately gets a draft booking. We built the product from the idea to live operation, including the website, web app and client area.

Buchsnap is a Swiss accounting platform for the collaboration between fiduciary and client. The client submits receipts via app, upload or a dedicated email address and issues QR-bills. The fiduciary posts entries, reconciles the bank, files the VAT return and prepares the annual accounts. Buchsnap is free for fiduciary offices, and clients pay a fixed subscription from CHF 29 per month.
We built Buchsnap as a platform with three entry points: the portal for fiduciaries, the client dashboard and the web app app.buchsnap.ch, which runs on iPhone and Android without an app store. Document recognition reads text and QR codes on its own server and creates a draft booking. camt.053/054 bank statements, settlements from TWINT, SumUp, Stripe and other providers, and online shop sales are posted cleanly. The public website explains features, plans and security in four languages and includes a directory of fiduciary offices.
The starting point
In many fiduciary offices, work starts with searching: receipts arrive in February as a binder, as photos via messenger or spread across several emails, and important slips are missing. Existing software is built either for accountants or for companies without a fiduciary. Buchsnap had to bring both sides onto one platform, with every Swiss specific included from day one.

Receipt review for fiduciaries
Every receipt opens next to a pre-filled form. Supplier, date, amount and VAT have already been read; the fiduciary checks them, picks the account and approves.

Client web app
The app runs in the browser on iPhone and Android and sits on the home screen once installed. Clients photograph receipts, see their status and issue QR-bills on the go.

QR-bill
Invoices carry the company's logo and colours, all line items with VAT and, on the second page, the payment part with the Swiss QR code. As soon as the payment appears on the bank statement, the invoice is marked as paid.
