For the Swiss market the site needed to be more modern, better organised and consistently multilingual. It was therefore completely redesigned on a new technical foundation.

About the project

HostON is a Swiss hosting provider. It offers cPanel web hosting with LiteSpeed, WordPress hosting, reseller plans, KVM VPS, email hosting, SSL certificates and more than 1,900 domain extensions. Its audience is Swiss SMEs, agencies and freelancers looking for reliable hosting with clear prices in CHF.

We rebuilt HostON.ch as a fast Next.js platform delivered via Cloudflare and connected to the my.hoston.ch customer area. Every product has its own page, prices can be shown with or without VAT, and a three-year calculator shows that renewals cost the same as the first order. Real cPanel screenshots, a five-step migration process, domain search, web tools and a blog complete the offering in six languages.

The starting point

Hosting is a product that needs explaining, in a market where many providers rely on introductory discounts. HostON wanted to stand out through transparency: fixed prices, open renewal costs, its own infrastructure and a public status page. These arguments had to be presented clearly, in several languages and in a way search engines can find.

The site includes a domain search with registration and renewal prices, a three-year price calculator, a switch between prices with and without VAT and a live system status. It also offers eight free web tools, a migration request, a blog and a login to the customer area.

The website was completely reconceived on a new technical foundation and made consistently multilingual. New elements include a clear product structure, the fixed-price calculator, publicly verifiable trust information, a documented migration process and free web tools.

The website is built with Next.js and delivered via Cloudflare. Orders, invoices and domains are handled through the connected my.hoston.ch customer area, and the language versions are marked up with hreflang.
