For the owner-run Sternen Apotheke, we built a website that takes patients to opening hours, phone number and emergency help within seconds. It is complemented by a clear overview of services, a health guide and forms for enquiries and job applications.

Sternen Apotheke is an owner-run neighbourhood pharmacy in Switzerland. It fills prescriptions and bills health insurers directly, and offers health checks, compression therapy, medical aids for rent and a home delivery service in the surrounding area. Its customers are mainly people from the local area who value personal advice.
We developed a custom WordPress theme without a page builder: a calm design with plenty of white space, and the phone number, opening hours and a prominent emergency link in the header and footer. Services are organised into three areas – checks and measurements, advice and care, medical aids and services. An emergency page in German and English, a categorised health guide, FAQ blocks, structured data for Google and lean forms complete the site.
The starting point
People looking for a pharmacy online usually want to know three things straight away: is it open, how do I get in touch, and where do I turn in an emergency? At the same time, Sternen Apotheke offers far more than medicines, and this range had to be presented clearly without overwhelming visitors.

Pharmacy homepage
The homepage introduces the neighbourhood pharmacy and leads straight to opening hours and contact. Visitors see a portrait from the pharmacy, phone and address, plus clearly visible buttons for calling and emergencies.

This page brings together all of the pharmacy's services, from prescriptions to health checks. Three tabs let visitors switch between the areas, and each service appears as its own card.
